This website is hosted by the University of Avignon et les Pays du Vaucluse. His purpose is to offer a showroom of our work to the open source community. For now, this website is hosted on an oldy crapy webserver but it should change soon, be careful. This site is very important for us because it gives us the opportuny to share our products and efforts with others. Indeed, the University is trying to develop all his new applications with an idea of globality. What does it means ? It means that all theses applications, you will see soon, are developed not only for us, not only for others universities but for all kind of people (firms and private people). As an example, even if we use LDAP stuff and LDAP authentication, we also have implemented DB authentication for common users. As you probably now, we will never use the DB authentication but maybe you… you will. The main idea is to open our works to everybody, that’s all.
All applications coming from the University of Avignon et Pays du Vaucluse are released under the CeCILL terms of licence and in GPLv3 or GPLv2 (depends on ours needs or constraints). Graphics and design should be released under Creative Commons licence.
